What’s better than a single 2U rack server? How about 4 servers in the same amount of space? A seemingly impossible feat otherwise, engineers over at HP have specially concocted a unique node-server host solution in the form of the Apollo DX/R2600 chassis.

This impressive machine can host four highly efficient dual CPU-socket XL170R server nodes. With each node able to support Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs at up to 150W per socket, the whole chassis can easily host over 100+ physical CPU Cores, with this listing having 144 to be exact!

We’re certainly bringing the processing power and large scale virtualization support with this unit, having all of those cores along with a helpful fixing of 128GB of DDR4 2400MHz Registered memory per node for a total of 512GB. On the storage side, we’ve alternatively decided to leave that to our dear customers to optimize as they see fit. The DX2600 chassis has 24 SFF 2.5” drive bays to allow for SAS and SATA devices, be it traditional hard drives or faster solid state drives. This choice is yours to make!

We know this unit is packed with power and value, so to ensure it arrives as safe as possible, we require the unit to be shipped via Freight LTL. However, provided that the server is shipping to a commercial address within the continental US, shipping is included! If you don’t have a commercial address, we of course encourage you to contact us for shipping support on this as needed! In addition to that safer shipping method, we’re also having the chassis and server nodes all covered by our Premium 1-Year Warranty for this listing, which includes in-depth testing, and our full system audit process!

Every unit is built in-house by a team of expert engineers. The engineers check and test all components that go into every system. Once all testing is completed, they initiate hardware updates and begin the warranty process. A full build audit is then generated and stored into our database with the order number. This audit includes a list of every component and their respective serial numbers. A shortened version of this audit will be included with the warranty paperwork shipped with each system.
