Dell R630 - U.2 NVMe Host, High End CPU Node, 10GbE Networking and More!

NVMe capability is an often requested feature in our servers, and this week we’re bringing this availability to a unit that can host up to four of these drives along with a whole lot more. Adding NVMe support to a high-power configuration like this unit is sure to bring your server environment to the next level. Dell’s PowerEdge R630 is back with a setup that will deliver performance across a wide number of fields.

We do encourage this server option to be further examined if you’re into a VMware, ProxMox, HyperV, or other environment where you can utilize fast single drive read/writes within the host OS. This is important to keep in mind, as though the server does have U.2 capability, there isn’t functionality to run hardware RAID on the drives. However, there is onboard RAID capability for the server’s already installed six separate 2TB SAS hard drives. This can be ideal if you’re looking for a mixed storage configuration or multi-application host to utilize SAS storage alongside NVMe storage.

As the title suggests, we’ve arranged for a whopping 36 CPU cores to be installed into this unit with a pair of Intel Xeon E5-2695 V4 CPUs. In a highly virtualized setup or multi-segmented node that can utilize all of these CPU cores, you’ll be happy to have an excellent RAM configuration as well, with this R630 equipped with 256GB of DDR4 2400MHz system memory. Be it multitasking or a more focused singular threaded application, if you’re looking for RAM, you’ll certainly find it in this listing.

Of course, if you are needing more, you can always add to this configuration by navigating to the bottom of the listing page and viewing the Related Products area to find additional memory if you really want to push it to the next limit! In that section of the page, you’ll also find other accessories such as a server rail kit or front bezel, all matched to the server of course. Just above that, you’ll find our warranty information that goes further in-depth to cover our processes with our systems, all for superb 1 Year Premium Hardware Warranty. By all means, please feel free to ask us any questions you have on this warranty or on any of our other listings. Don’t forget, other listings as well as added accessories can have the 5% off checkout coupon (5OFF) applied!

Warranty Information

To ensure the best product is sent to our customers, all systems are built to order from the ground up, fully tested, updated, and warrantied. We do not dropship any system. Every unit is built in-house by a team of expert engineers. The engineers check and test all components that go into every system. Once all testing is completed, they initiate hardware updates and begin the warranty process. A full build audit is then generated and stored into our database with the order number. This audit includes a list of every component and their respective serial numbers. A shortened version of this audit will be included with the warranty paperwork shipped with each system.
