Why Do You Need a Server Warranty?

Every business with a server should have a warranty as a standard best practice. Servers are the backbone of any IT network, and a failing server can significantly disrupt business operations. Without a warranty, replacing or repairing a server could be costly and time-consuming, potentially leading to lost revenue and decreased customer satisfaction. Having a server warranty ensures that your business can recover quickly in case of a failure, minimizing downtime and financial loss.

Warranty Options

Every server sold by SaveMyServer includes the option to choose from the following warranty plans:

  • Standard 180-Day Limited Warranty – Covers basic hardware failures with part replacement.
  • 1-Year Premium Warranty – Provides coverage for hardware defects and failures for a full year.
  • 2-Year Premium Warranty – Extends protection to two years, including replacement parts, configuration, and shipping.
  • 3-Year Premium Warranty – The most comprehensive option, covering hardware failures, replacements, configuration, and shipping for three years.

What Is Included with SaveMyServer Premium Warranties

  • Full Hardware Replacement – If the server experiences a non-recoverable failure, a replacement server will be configured and shipped.
  • Component Replacement – Any defective hardware component (motherboard, CPU, RAM, etc.) will be replaced at no cost.
  • Shipping and Return Shipping – Both the shipment of replacement components or systems and the return of the defective unit are covered.
  • Configuration and Testing – Replacement servers are configured and tested before shipping to ensure proper functionality.

What Does Our Warranty NOT Cover?

  • Software or application support – Not included.
  • Windows Server or VMWare installation – Only supported when purchased with hard drives from SaveMyServer.
  • Third-party hardware or components – Not covered.
  • OS installations – Not covered if the original install is wiped out.
  • Rebuilds – Authorized only after all troubleshooting steps, as outlined by SaveMyServer, have been followed.

How Do I Make a Warranty Claim?

  • Contact us at support@savemyserver.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
  • A sales executive will assist you during business hours.

International Shipping Limitations

  • Our warranty is only valid within the contiguous U.S. states. 
  • Any damage or issues caused by international shipping, freight forwarding, or transport outside the U.S. are not covered.
  • Orders shipped outside the U.S. void the warranty.

Can I Purchase an Extended Warranty?

  • Yes! We offer extended warranties of up to 3 years.
  • Available for purchase within 60 days of original order.
