This week we have ten Dell PowerEdge R720 8 Bay Servers with dual E5-2670 V2 processors with 10 cores each for a total of 20 cores. Each unit comes equipped with 4X 16GB memory DIMMS for a total of 64GB of DDR3 memory. This leaves 20 empty slots for further expation out of the 24 DIMM slots. The system has 8 drive bays, two of which have 3TB SAS drives installed, leaving six drive bays for future expansion. This unit comes with a H710 RAID controller with battery backup.
